1. Personal Data Controller

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process personal data exclusively for these purposes:

Recording signatures under the Call and keeping records of persons who supported the Call;

Communication with signatories, if they wish (e.g., sending information about case developments or submitting the petition to relevant institutions);

Official submission of the Call to state authorities, international institutions or media within the campaign.

The legal basis for processing is the consent of the data subject under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

This consent is given when submitting the form on the page "Join the Call".

3. Scope of Processed Data

Within the form, we collect and process the following data:

First and last name (mandatory)

Email address (mandatory)

Address (street, city, postal code, country) — optional

Message — optional

Consent to personal data processing (mandatory)

We do not use any data beyond this scope. We do not collect sensitive personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.

4. Data Retention Period

We will retain your personal data:

for the duration of the campaign, and

for a maximum of 2 years after its completion, unless you withdraw your consent earlier.

After this period expires, the data will be securely anonymized or deleted.

5. Processing Method and Security

Personal data is stored in a secure database with restricted access. Only authorized persons from the Controller have access.

We use secure connection (HTTPS) and standard technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risks (passwords, encryption, access rights).

Personal data is not automatically transferred to any other controllers or processors outside the EU. We do not use any automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Data Transfer to Third Parties

Your data may be transferred to the necessary extent to:

Relevant state authorities of the Czech Republic, international organizations or media within the official submission of the Call (e.g., as a petition list with name, surname and city).

Technical service providers (e.g., web hosting, email server) who act as processors and have a data processing agreement with us. We do not sell or provide data to commercial entities.

7. Data Subject Rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access to your data

Right to rectification of inaccurate data

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

Right to restriction of processing

Right to object to processing

Right to data portability

Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

To exercise these rights, you can contact us at info@freejandarmovzal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection).

8. Voluntary Provision of Data

Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for valid joining of the Call. If you do not agree to processing, we cannot record your signature.

9. Final Provisions

These principles may be updated if necessary. The current version is always published on this page.
